Lastly, you’ll need to have a working Internet connection in order to access the My Cloud Home Duo settings - there’s no ‘local’ web portal on the device, so you have to make all changes via WD’s website. Secondly, if for whatever reason the Discovery app crashes, your network mapped drive automatically disappears and you have to launch the app again to restore it. Once powered up, you just navigate to /hello to create a WD account and begin detection of your My Cloud Home Duo. Plug just two cables in and you're up and running.
